Darcy Baylis - “I Wanna be tranquilized”
Drawing significant inspiration from early 1990s shoegaze music videos, we reinterpreted their distinctive texture and camera techniques through a contemporary lens. For the colour grading, I aimed to cultivate a subdued, bleak atmosphere that allows the selective bright hues to punctuate the visuals, creating a compelling contrast that enhances the overall mood and emotional resonance of the piece.
